Kenneth "Gene" Furr has been in the insurance business for over 25 years as a licensed life and health broker. Working with Menath Insurance Agency for the last 9 years, he has spoken on Healthcare Reform to many community groups, chamber of commerce, rotary clubs, and other associations. Having served in various board positions, he has educated members of the US House and Senate as well as legislatures in Carson City in his role as State Legislative Chairman and State President. He is currently a member of the Nevada Insurance Commissioner's Advisory Committee on Healthcare and Insurance and serves on broker advisory panels with many carriers. Gene currently lives and provides services to the Reno, NV, and Tahoe, CA area.
When he's not helping businesses understand Healthcare Reform, Gene enjoys supporting the community through his church. He's happily married now for 30 years and is very proud of his three sons.
